Deserves his own show!

I just saw this little bit on Zap2it.com and in the "Where have I seen them before?" part they list John and some of the things he's been in. It's a really short mention but I loved the last part the writer just popped in there:
John Slattery is Gabrielle's new love interest Victor on "Desperate Housewives." He was Peter the headmaster on "Jack & Bobby," Dennis on "Ed" and Carrie's boyfriend Bill on "Sex and the City." By the way, he so deserves his own show.

NICE!!!  I would definitely love to see John with his own show. He sure does deserve it!!!

So if John did get his own show, what kind of show do you think he would have and what would it be about?

I don't know what it should be about, but, I'd be nice if it was a comedy. It'll totally be perfect for him!

I have a sudden feeling of extreme happiness right now but here goes.
John takes on the role of a college Dean and finds out that three kids from his past (2 guys and a girl) who have been his students during his years as an elementary principal. He remembers them as the kids who started the very first food fight when he was in charge of the school. The 3 kids are Jack, Sheena, and Bill.
Some qoutes:
Jack:It wasn't my fault. I don't understand why it's not yours.
John's char:What?!
Sheena:Chillax, Mr...(who was that guy from elementary.) Carpenter.
John's char:Chillax? Can't you see what the white hair is for?! It's a sign of distress!
Bill: (calm) Are you in distress?
John's char: Yes Bill, I am.

I would love to see him as the lead in a comedy.
As long as it was well-written, I don't even care what it's about. Just watching John deliver funny lines in lots of scenes would be heaven!
